Mr Khan’s experience spans 34 years and he has extensive experience at every level of education. He has spent 20 years as Principal of Islamia Muslim School, during which he established 6 other schools which he registered and accredited with UMALUSI. One of the schools was for adults who had no formal education.

He also served as Inspector of Schools for 4 years in the midlands region of KwaZulu Natal. Mr Khan is an English Specialist and a qualified Counsellor.

His vision and mission for the school is to graduate learners who are first and foremost practising Muslims and then academically a cut above the rest, Insh a Allah! The situation in our country is precarious where most children have to compete for the few university seats allocated for the thousands of applicants. Hence, it is imperative that our children strive for the attainable 100% in every subject and for this, it is imperative that parents work closely with our team to motivate our children to exceed their own expectations and fulfil their Allah SWT-Given potential.

HMA is the School of Choice and is entering a new era to be abreast of the developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Principal is excited about the imminent Secondary school phase and prays that parents share in this enthusiasm and continue to be supportive of the institution.

Mr Khan believes in an open-door policy and encourages parents to call at the school to discuss their children and how we can better provide for them. Insh a Allah!

Together we can take HMA to greater heights!
